Trenopedia is an independent project about travelling by train. I will show you how to travel by train in many countries around the world. I explain you how to search train connections, how to buy cheap train tickets and show you the best places to visit. I have no connection with ticket agencies and governments.

If you are planning a train journey, you have found the right website. I provide information about trains, and you will also find practical advice and travel inspiration here. Im a railfan from Poland. My Polish blog “Kolej na Podróż” was the biggest website about travelling by train in Poland. Don’t laugh at me for my poor English, please. I will try to improve my language skills and to learn how to write correctly in English language.

In the articles on my website, I briefly describe railways in various countries around the world. The articles contain general information about the most important railway connections, tourist trains, scenic railway lines, places worth visiting, and the best offers for travelling by train at low cost. I usually do not provide specific prices, but instead include links to websites with up-to-date information. I will try, whenever possible, to update the articles and expand the list with countries that I have not yet covered.

Im a disabled person (groin pain of unknown cause), so I can sit at computer twice a week for two hours an I am unable to follow changes on the railways on an ongoing basis.

My dream is to travel by train through the most important countries, which would allow me to prepare articles based on my own information and photographs. Unfortunately, because of my disability, I will never be able to travel myself.
