Celodenní jízdenka+Německo – a passenger’s guide

Czech Railways (České dráhy) offers a very good network ticket Celodenní jízdenka+Německo, which allows unlimited travel by train within a selected region of the Czech Republic and on designated cross-border railway lines between the Czech Republic and Germany. Ticket holders can visit many interesting German towns in Bavaria and Saxony for a relatively low price.

Celodenní jízdenka+Německo – Key facts

Celodenní jízdenka+Německo is a one-day network ticket for one person. In the Czech Republic, it is valid only within one selected region (Plzeň Region, Karlovy Vary Region, or Ústí nad Labem Region – the passenger chooses at the time of purchase). In Germany, it is valid on designated railway lines in several federal states.

– The ticket is not available for pre-sale or online purchase through the České dráhy website.

– In the Czech Republic, the ticket is valid only in 2nd class on České dráhy trains, with the same coverage as the standard one-day ticket Celodenní jízdenka. It applies to all train categories (IC, EC, SC), although on SuperCity (SC) trains, a seat reservation is required.

– In Germany, the ticket is valid only on R and RE trains (regional trains), and not valid on IC, EC, or ICE trains.

– Unlike regional network tickets offered by local authorities, Celodenní jízdenka+Německo is not valid on regional buses or urban public transport.
