Train from Prague to Kutna Hora run every two hours. It is a fast train from Prague to Brno via Caslav, which stops at Kutna Hora hlavni nadrazi station (Kutna Hora main station). The train journey from Prague takes about an hour. There is another route from Prague to Brno via Pardubice – these trains don’t stop at Kutna Hora main station.
There are two railway stations in Kutna Hora.
Kutna Hora main station (Kutna Hora hlavni nadrazi) is located 3 kilometers from the Old Town and 1 km from the Ossuary. The walk from the train station to the historic center takes approximately 30 minutes.
Kutna Hora mesto station (Kutna Hora station) is located within walking distance (5 minutes) from the historic center.
There is a shuttle service between two railway stations. Train from Kutna Hora main station to Kutna Hora mesto station departs five to ten minutes after arrival the train from Prague and arrives five to ten minutes before the departure of return trains to Prague. The journey between stations takes only nine minutes. Trains stop at Kutna Hora-Sedlec stop close to the Sedlec Ossuary.

Kutna Hora was famous for silver mines in the past. The centre of the city was included in the UNESCO world heritage list in 1995 thanks to its historical importance and beautiful architecture. The town is worth a one-day visit at any time of year.
