Sighisoara train station

Sighișoara train station is a railway station in Sighișoara – beautiful fortified Romanian town in Transylvania region. The station building was opened around 1870s. It’s a small station – facade of the building was renovated and it appears nice. The station is located about one kilometer from the city center – there are no buses. Theoretically, there is a taxi rank in front of the station, but taxis may be available or not.

Many long-distance trains stop here, so you can easily get to Sighișoara from Bucharest and Brașov.

Platforms have been renovated recently. The platforms are covered but there are no ramps or lifts. There is a tunnel under the tracks.
