Lodz Fabryczna train station (Łódź Fabryczna)

Lodz Fabryczna train station is the largest and main railway station in the city of Łódź, Poland. It serves regional and fast trains to many Polish cities. Construction of the railway tunnel between stations Lodz Fabryczna and Lodz Widzew is underway. The current station building was opened on 11 December 2016. The old building was demolished in 2011. The modern station is huge and resembles an airport terminal.

The station is located in the centre of Łódź, as a main place of New Centre of Łódź. Next to the station is located public transport terminal and long-distance bus terminal.

There are many trains from Łódź to Warsaw.

The station is underground. There are 4 platforms. Access to the platforms is via escalators and lifts. Platforms are equipped with electronic displays.

The station is located next to EC1 – the City of Culture – a former house plant that houses a science and technology center, huge playground and planetarium. Most of the tourist attractions. Most tourist attractions are located within 3-5 kilometers from the train station. It’s worth buying a 24-hour ticket for public transportation.
