For trips between Polish voivodeships by regional trains you can use Wspólny Bilet Samorządowy (Joint Regional Government Ticket) – a 24-hour ticket valid on nearly all regional trains operated by seven Polish rail carriers. However, it is not valid on PKP Intercity or Polregio, which may require purchasing an additional ticket for parts of longer journeys.

Rolling stock

Rolling stock is diverse The fleet includes both refurbished diesel and electric multiple units. Almost all trains have an only one toilet, most are air-conditioned, and many of them are adapted for passengers with reduced mobility or in wheelchairs. Toilets are often occupied by passengers without valid ticket who want to hide themselves from ticket inspectors. Personally, I don’t feel safely on the board of the trains operated by Koleje Mazowieckie.
